North Carolina Concealed Carry Permit Course

The classroom and range course that meets the training requirement for the North Carolina Concealed Carry Handgun Permit.

A full-day class that covers the legal and practical content required for the North Carolina CCH permit application, taught by instructors certified by the NRA and the NC Justice Academy. Safety is the first priority: instruction moves from the ground up so newer shooters can attend with confidence.

What happens after I complete the class?

You take your training certificate to your local sheriff's office and complete their permit application. Application fees, processing times, and any additional requirements are set by your county sheriff's office.
